~ Idaho Falls Police Department is gearing up for their annual National Night Out event, and they are inviting the community to join in on the fun. The event will take place on Tuesday, August 4th at Tautphaus Park from 5-8 p.m.
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that aims to strengthen police-community partnerships and promote neighborhood camaraderie. It is an opportunity for community members to come together and make their neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.
Attendees can look forward to meeting with Idaho Falls Police Officers, who will be present from various departments such as Patrol Bureau, SWAT team, K9 unit, Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drone) Team, Idaho Falls Region 7 Bomb Squad, Crime Scene Investigations, and Emergency Communications Officers. They will also have the chance to see police vehicles and equipment up close and even witness demonstrations from special teams like K9 and UAS.
