According to IFFD officials, this annual block party is an important way for them to connect with the community outside of emergency situations and build relationships with those they serve. It also provides children and families with a chance to become familiar with firefighters, fire engines, and the station in a fun and welcoming environment.
The Idaho Falls Fire Department would like to extend a special thanks to their partners including the National Fire Protection Association and Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls. They also acknowledge the support of various community partners and sponsors who make this event possible every year.
Families are encouraged to join IFFD for an evening filled with community spirit, connections, and most importantly - fire safety at the 2026 Fire Prevention Block Party.
