~ Idaho Falls - Starting on Monday, April 13, S 5th W will be closed to through traffic between 49th S and 65th S for approximately eight weeks. This closure is due to utility installation work being done by H-K Contractors for Christ Community Church.
According to the Idaho Falls Public Works department, the closure is necessary for the installation of a sewer line and water main. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays in the area. While access to individual properties within the work zone will be maintained, through access between 49th S and 65th S will be interrupted.
