IDAHO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls - The City of Falls and its contractor, HK Contractors, have announced plans to upgrade waterlines in the North Boulevard and Anderson Street area up to Holmes Avenue. The project is expected to be completed by this summer.
According to the contractors, they have been working with minimal impact on the public for the past few weeks. However, starting from Saturday, March 29th, they will begin work at the intersection of Anderson and North Boulevard. As a result, drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid any potential delays.
During construction, detours will be in place as traffic is redirected around the work zone. This will include traffic lane shifts on Anderson and North Boulevard as work progresses. In addition, detours will also be necessary during nights and weekends to accommodate service line crossing replacements. Despite these changes, homes and businesses in the area will remain accessible throughout the construction period.
