~ Idaho Falls Fire Department responded to a structure fire near W. Broadway Street and Trolley Way at approximately 1:33 p.m. today. The fire, which involved multiple vehicles, outbuildings, fencing, trees, and a manufactured home, was quickly contained by firefighters.
Upon arrival, crews found a fast-moving blaze that had already damaged a 2016 Honda Civic, a motorhome, multiple trailers, a boat on a trailer, a garden shed, a maintenance truck, approximately 200 feet of cedar fencing, and two snowmobiles on a trailer. However, thanks to the swift actions of the firefighters, the fire was prevented from spreading to nearby structures.

One manufactured home did sustain exterior damage from the fire. However, firefighters were able to stop it from extending into the interior of the residence. The damage is estimated at around $10,000 and is primarily limited to the rear of the structure and its exterior siding.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported in connection with this incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by authorities.
