Washington, D.C. ~ Washington, D.C. - In a move to boost economic growth and streamline infrastructure projects in Idaho, Governor Brad Little and U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum signed a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Trump administration today.

The MOU, signed by Governor Little and Secretary Burgum, aims to better coordinate and streamline federal and state permitting processes for critical infrastructure projects related to energy, mining, transportation, and other key areas. This agreement commits Idaho to opt in to the "FAST-41" process, which aligns timelines for state and federal environmental reviews.
