Our capabilities have expanded through a new partnership with InkBit, unlocking advanced VCJ production.

AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho - IdaStar -- At JawsTec, we're excited to announce our partnership with Inkbit to offer Vision Controlled Jetting (VCJ), now available for production orders.

VCJ uses real-time machine vision to inspect each printed layer and make corrections before the next layer is deposited. Unlike traditional jetting methods, which operate without mid-build feedback, this closed-loop approach enables tighter tolerances, more consistent results, and the ability to produce complex geometries that are difficult to achieve with conventional processes.

Two materials are currently available:
  • TEPU 30A — A soft elastomer with a 30A durometer, ideal for cushioning, sealing, and ergonomic applications.
  • TEPU 50A — A medium-durometer elastomer with a 50A rating, suited for functional prototypes and end-use parts requiring a balance of flexibility and load resistance.

Both materials are available through the JawsTec platform today. Customers can submit production orders for Vision Controlled Jetting (VCJ) (https://www.jawstec.com/vision-controlled-jetting/), which is offered alongside our existing manufacturing processes.
