IDAHO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls Fire Department Hosts Annual Fire Prevention Block Party
The Idaho Falls Fire Department is gearing up for its annual Fire Prevention Block Party, set to take place on Monday, Sept. 29, 2025. The community is invited to join in on the fun from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Station 1 on 343 E St.
This free and family-friendly event aims to kick off Fire Prevention Week with a bang. Attendees can expect an evening filled with food, entertainment, and most importantly, fire safety education. This year's theme, "Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home," will be highlighted throughout the event.

Some of the exciting activities planned for the block party include free food provided by the Community Food Basket, fire engine tours, face painting, and kids' training challenges. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take photos with Sparky the Fire Dog and witness live sponsor demonstrations.
