IDAHO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls is gearing up for its Third Annual UTV Holiday Light Parade and Stones Kia Firework Show, set to take place on Friday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. Registration for the highly anticipated event will open on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 a.m.

The parade, hosted by the City of Idaho Falls and the Idaho Falls Rotary Club, has become a beloved community tradition that invites participants to decorate their UTVs or side-by-sides with festive holiday lights and join the procession. This year's parade will follow a new scenic route along the east side of the Idaho Falls Riverwalk to the Pancheri bridge and back up the west side of the riverwalk to Freeman Park.

Registration for the parade is limited to 400 participants and will close once all spots are filled. A registration fee of $10 is required, with all proceeds going towards benefiting the Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls. In addition to the parade, this year's celebration will feature two 10-minute fireworks shows presented by Stones Kia. Spectators can enjoy these dazzling displays from multiple viewing areas along the parade route.

Mayor Rebecca Casper expressed her excitement for this year's event, stating that it has been incredible to see it grow each year. She also highlighted how this event not only brings joy and holiday spirit to the community but also supports a great cause by benefiting the Community Food Basket of Idaho Falls.

Residents and visitors alike can expect a magical evening filled with twinkling lights, festive music, and fireworks over the Snake River whether they join in on the parade or watch from the sidelines.
