Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - Governor Brad Little's "Capital for a Day" program continues to bring state officials closer to the people of Idaho. The next event will be held in Preston on October 29 at the Worm Creek Opera House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Joining Governor Little at the event will be several high-ranking officials, including Idaho Lt. Governor Scott Bedke, State Controller Brandon Woolf, and Department of Agriculture Director Chanel Tewalt. Other attendees include Susan Buxton from the Department of Parks and Recreation, Dean Cameron from the Department of Insurance, and Dan McElhinney from the Transportation Department.

Deputy directors Michele Andersen from the Department of Lands and Spencer Barzee from the Department of Education will also be present, along with regional managers James Cefalo from the Department of Water Resources and Katy Bergholm from the Environmental Quality department.
Governor Little expressed his excitement about bringing this event to Preston, stating that it is an honor to have an opportunity to hear directly from the residents of Franklin County about their concerns and ideas for improving government services. The event aims to foster open communication between state officials and citizens in order to better serve their needs.
