Boise, Idaho ~ Boise, Idaho - In the wake of the sentencing of Bryan Kohberger, who pleaded guilty to the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students, Governor Brad Little has released a statement expressing his condolences and gratitude towards the community.
The four victims, Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin, were remembered as "beautiful souls" by Governor Little. He acknowledged that their tragic deaths have deeply affected the people of Idaho.

During the sentencing hearing, loved ones of the victims shared their heart-wrenching statements. Governor Little noted that a common theme emerged from these statements - unity.
