IDAHO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls - The City of Idaho Falls has recently announced the launch of their new Resident Discount Card, a program specifically designed for residents living within the city limits. This program will provide eligible residents with reduced rates at select Parks and Recreation facilities and programs starting April 28, 2025.
According to PJ Holm, the Parks and Recreation Director, this discount card is a way to recognize the contributions of residents through their property taxes while also ensuring that the city's amenities are accessible to those who help fund them.
The Resident Discount Card will allow cardholders to receive exclusive discounts at various Idaho Falls Parks and Recreation facilities such as the Idaho Falls Zoo (admission only), Wes Deist Aquatic Center, Marmo/Lehto Ice Arena, Recreation Center, Tautphaus Park Indoor Pickleball Courts, and Pinecrest, Sage Lakes, and Sand Creek Golf Courses. These discounts will apply to regular admission fees, punch passes, and certain program registrations. However, there are some exclusions such as special events, equipment rentals, and merchandise purchases. Residents are advised to check with each facility for full details on what is included in the discount.
