IDAHO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls Zoo Reopens for 2025 Season, Offering Exciting Wildlife and Educational Experiences
The Idaho Falls Zoo is thrilled to announce the reopening of its gates for the 2025 season on Thursday, April 24. After a long winter break, the Zoo is ready to welcome both local residents and visitors to experience the remarkable wildlife and educational opportunities it has to offer.
Under the leadership of Executive Director David Pennock, the Zoo will be open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with last admission at 4:30 p.m. Visitors can look forward to exploring a diverse array of over 230 individual animals representing more than 90 species from around the world.
"We're excited to welcome back our community for another exciting season at the Idaho Falls Zoo," said Pennock. "With a full lineup of programs and events, we're offering more opportunities than ever for families and visitors to experience the wonders of wildlife and learn about our important conservation work."

General admission rates for the Zoo are as follows:
- Adults (13-61): $12.00
- Seniors (62+): $10.50
- Children (3-12): $9.00
- Toddlers/Infants (2 & under): $0.50
- Military (with valid ID): $9.00
- Zoo Members: Free (with valid membership)
In addition to regular visits, the Zoo will also be hosting a variety of education programs and special events throughout the season. Dates and details for these programs will be announced in due course. These programs are designed to engage visitors of all ages and promote the Zoo's commitment to wildlife education and conservation.
The community is also invited to participate in the annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own rakes, gloves, and equipment, and wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty in.
