IDHAO FALLS ~ Idaho Falls residents can expect changes to their daily commute as contractors begin work to align North Park Drive with the intersection of West 25th Street and Rollandet Avenue. The construction, set to begin on February 2nd by DePatco, will result in a detour for North Park Drive traffic. Drivers on Rollandet Avenue can also anticipate intermittent lane shifts, closures, and detours during the project.
The main goal of this project is to improve safety by aligning the road at the intersection. It is estimated that the work will be completed by early summer. However, in order to ensure the safety and efficiency of the construction, a traffic detour will be necessary. Drivers are advised to reduce their speeds, follow posted traffic control signage, and be aware of construction crews in the work zone.
